WHO I AM

I tell stories with a camera, but more than that—I craft visual narratives with a purpose. For the past 17 years, I’ve had the privilege of shaping stories as a video editor and director of photography, always chasing the heart of a story that can spark change. My passion? Turning powerful ideas into visuals that don’t just look good but mean something.

In April 2010, I launched Mammoth Editorial with one big goal: to create visual ideas with even bigger heart. One of my earliest and most defining projects was collaborating with director Andres Useche on a PSA for The Cove, the award-winning documentary. As Director of Photography and Video Editor, I witnessed firsthand how a powerful message can ripple through the world—our campaign went viral, proving that storytelling can move people to action. That moment cemented my mission: to use filmmaking as a force for good.

In 2014, I partnered with Daniel Cadena (Director/Editor) and Gabriel Mendez (Sound Engineer) to build Búho, a video production brand focused on digital films that don’t just tell stories but ignite change. With teams in New York, Bogotá, and Lisbon, we specialize in documentary-style storytelling that elevates brands, ideas, and businesses with a human touch.

My work has appeared on Discovery Channel, CNN, Univision, Fusion, and Telemundo, and I’ve collaborated with brands, artists, and organizations that believe in the power of storytelling—Participant Media, Dolphin.org, Nikon, Audi, Prada, Vox Media, Twitter, Snapchat, Pepsi, Madison Square Garden, iHeart Radio, and many more.

At the core of everything I do is one simple belief: stories shape the way we see the world. And when told right, they don’t just inform or entertain—they inspire.
